Maiora Aventus Fountain Pen – Amore Red/Ruthenium

The Maiora Aventus Amore fountain pen boasts a stunning bright red resin body and cap with a glossy flecked finish. The pen’s exquisite design is further accentuated by a beautifully engraved cap ring and ruthenium-plated trim. Equipped with a standard steel #6 Jowo nib and can be filled using the special Maiora threaded converter, which is accessible by unscrewing the blind cap at the end of the barrel. Alternatively, short standard international ink cartridges can be used by unscrewing the barrel from the grip section, unscrewing the converter, and pressing in the cartridge.

Each pen has a unique individual number and is handmade by the Maiora Pen Company in Naples, Italy. Nino Marino, the former co-founder and president of the Delta Pen Company, manages Maiora. In addition to the Maiora brand, the company also produces fountain pens under the Nettuno brand.

Maiora’s innovative Converter Special filling system combines the best features of piston and cartridge converter fountain pens. This threaded converter allows the pen to be filled like a standard piston fountain pen, providing the convenience of a piston filler with the ease of cleaning and maintenance associated with the cartridge converter fountain pen.

The threaded converter is included with the pen and is adorned with a metal cover, featuring the Maiora brand trademark. It is easily accessible through the threaded blind cap located at the bottom of the barrel. By activating the “piston”, the pen is filled with ink.

In addition to its unique filling system, the Maiora Converter Special also offers the option to use a standard international size ink cartridge with your fountain pen. With this system, you can simply remove the converter and replace it with an ink cartridge, providing greater flexibility for your writing needs.
